Unmatched quality — the best Procreate oil brushes I've used.

You might think these brushes really hard to understand and control , but just take times to experience them, don't be afraid of the abstract effects, you might how impressive they are.Although a lots of oil like brushes set on markets can perform well, but i thinks this pack have its own taste.

I purchased these over a year ago, tried them a bit with no perseverance and little success. In desperation I recently reloaded them, reread the instructions and tried again. This time I tried each brush in succession and began to get a feel for how they work. Now its two weeks later and I am completely overwhelmed at how superior these brushes are to the dozen oil brush sets I own (which failed miserably to meet their creator’s advertising). Compared to to the others, this set is the closest thing to real oil by a huge margin. My favorite style is 17th Century Dutch still life. The more I work on my current painting (a floral still life), the more I feel that I am working in oil. You should not be daunted by the sheer volume of brushes in this set. Just take the time to try them out and you’ll see what I mean.

I love these brushes! They are true acrylic/oil brushes. It freed me from carrying with me oils, canvas, palette knives etc. iPad is all I need now thank you

Colors change at a moments notice (usually to white no mater what), every stroke has a hard, sharp white outline, every stroke is full of pixelated markings. Quick strokes make a checkerboard stamp pattern, hard strokes give a transparent middle. A blue selected color with the standard paint brush (which is absurdly in the latter half of the set) gives a solid white stroke with jagged, perpendicular bands of the wrong color (usually green or a different shade of blue than what you selected)! One may assume then that the brushes would be wonderful with white selected, since no matter what color you select you get white in every stroke, but no everything turns DARK yellow then. Going by the included guide, the brush maker is more interested in being pretentious than making something usable. Lot of purple prose in google translate english, no information, wish there was a demo. Better, I wish I could have tested these a week ago so I could have refunded them! STAY AWAY.

Oh, I'm sincerely sorry that you faced up to such difficulties when using my brush set, which resulted in such a negative. A large number of positive reviews and my own experience expressed in my works allow me to assume that it's about your device. Which iPad do you use? As well, did you try both versions of the set? PS: I still don't have an idea where you found a standard brush in my set :).

At first I honestly regretted buying this because the brushes behavior was quite hard to understand for me. But the more I used the more I loved them. They create very unique effects and brushwork that is unmatched. There is a special spontaneity to them. But yeah they require that you take your time to understand them.

Some brushes have this tendency to randomly erase during a stroke. For example, the “On Canvas 3.0 Liquid Round Thick” when you press hard it lays down opaque but when you let go of the pressure, it erases the part on where the current pencil is. This is not only for this specific brush but it happens on most of them. Am I doing something wrong or are these brushes are not meant to be used for longer strokes? Update: Apparently I figured out that in version 3.0 the curves are a bit modified and its supposed to emulate a loaded brush running out of paint (It wasnt really explained in the PDF). When you press hard it will only lay a certain amount of paint until it becomes diluted.
