Rendering a Black Hole In Unreal Engine 5

Rendering a Black Hole in Unreal Engine 5 is a training course featuring over 5 hours of content over 14 chapters. The vast majority of the series is done inside of Unreal Engine 5 in conjunction with Visual Studio Code, which is free software from Microsoft used to do light weight code editing.

This series also comes with the project file that contains the black hole shader. You'll need to drop the shader files in the appropriate directory for them to work.

Skill Level

• Unreal Engine - Basic knowledge such as material creation basics.
• Blender - Beginner
• HLSL - Intermediate: It's possible to do this tutorial without HLSL experience, however it may be a bit challenging. If you've built a bunch of unreal engine materials, you should be fine because most of the functions are the same.
