I think this is an very good tutorial. Not for absolute beginners. There are very much techniques explained, so I learned a lot of useful stuff. Some parts are a bit fast, but rewinding and watching again helpes to understand what is going on. I tried to use the vertex map for the river bump, but in my version of Octane-X that is not working unfortunately. But that’s off course nothing to do with the excellent tutorial. I was also wondering if the scattering in Octane has changed in comparison to the version in the tutorial. When I populate with multiple objects it is random distributed from the start, so I don’t need to use the noise cellshader to make it random. But like I said, this is a great tutorial with many techniques for materials, scattering and all kind of useful tips and tricks! And I haven’t finished watching everything yet. Many thanks, I learned a lot!

Poor quality, the person accelerates everything so that it is extremely difficult to follow what he is doing, I regret this purchase which, in the end, teaches me nothing.

I feel like this is an inaccurate review of the tutorial I have created, I literally go step by step in showing you how to create water and ground materials and build a river scene using them and assets, I even show you how to go about finishing the scene in photoshop which no one else does. If you are having any issues with it feel free to msg me, thats why ive added where to reach me on my tutorials, also check out my youtube page for free tutorials that would help you complete these scenes.
