WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT FROM ALT+J

Blender's built-in Tris to Quads merges whatever pairs fall below an angle threshold — it has no concept of UV seams, sharp edges, or surface flow. Quadify Base uses a custom dissolution engine that scores every candidate merge by quad quality, surface curvature alignment, and planarity. Forbidden boundaries (seams, sharp edges, material borders) are enforced as hard constraints — no merge ever crosses them regardless of angle settings.
