BE Patch Synthesizer

The BE Patch Synthesizer is a tool similar to the existing tile patch node but with added functionality and intuitive controls. The node takes inputs and tiles them in patches like the tile patch node, but then allows for adjustment of the inner sample position to be randomized as well as stepped rotation, patch shape controls, and multi input combination. With these added controls the node can upscale, combine, or randomize the input(s) providing a versatile and useful tool for creating grungemaps, surface imperfections or processing photos into limitless texture variation.

The node works best when provided seamless inputs and used with a lower 'patch amount' value.

Minimum tested version is Substance 3D Designer 2024
