The project files from my Cobweb Tool - Houdini Breakdown video:


I created these two cobweb tools to create some simple cobwebs for a personal project. The two are:

  • Cobweb Generator - Generates cobwebs attached to the surface input geometry
  • Cobweb Drape - Runs a vellum simulation to naturally drape the cobwebs.

These webs were then baked to a flat plane for use inside a game engine.

File was made in Houdini 19.0.383 using a Houdini Indie Limited-Commercial License.
