Finding the right star maps can be tricky. Quite often the resolution is not good enough and the dynamic range is too low. 

This is why I created this High Dynamic Range, 32k EXR Panorama. The stars themselves are on a sub-pixel level to retain maximum sharpness. They also follow the real world stars classification to correctly represent colors and brightness based on their spectral type.
