Does what it says, for a reasonable price too!

Best dilation tool I've seen so far. I wish it could work with EXR images as well, but other than that, great tool. And when you buy it, don't be a dick, leave a tip - the tool is worth much more than that.

The dilation itself is great. I am rating it 4 stars only because it has caused a small offset on my texture which caused some seams to be visible on the model. It took me a little while to find out why my seams were visible. As someone else suggested in the comments a good workaround is using the dilated texture as a layer below the original not dilated texture so you will have the best of both worlds.

in the new version i add an option to overlay the original image on export (same math as photoshop normal blendmode), may this could fix your problem :)

It destroy's the base texture of complicated objects (roots etc.) but the dilation works well, and you can import it as a base layer underneath your cutout inside photoshop quickly. Way better than xnormals and easy to use. EDIT: I originally rated this 4 stars, and it is a shame that it destroys the base texture, but the dilation really works well, it averages the value, doesn't just take the pixel point colour which can save you a headache if you accidentally leave behind a blue pixel from your blue screen. Huge time saver and so damn cheap. Wish I found this tool sooner

in the new version i add an option to overlay the original image on export (same math as photoshop normal blendmode), so no more need to go back to photoshop after the dilation....hopefully it will workfor your needs. :) (the option "overlay original" need to be enabled)
