GRM Groom Toolkit (for Houdini FX)

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) 

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Luis Gerardo Castellanos Pinto for the software product(s) “GRM Groom Toolkit”  which may include associated media, printed materials, and "online" or electronic documentation. 

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the Software. 

1. Grant of License 

• Licensor hereby grants the User a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, modify, and adapt the Software for any commercial or non-commercial purposes. 

• The User is permitted to modify the Software to better suit their needs and integrate it into their projects. 

• The User is allowed to distribute any derivative works that result from modifications, provided that the Licensor is not attributed as the author of the derivative works. 

2. Intellectual Property Rights 

• The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all rights, title, and interest, including all intellectual property rights, in and to the original Software, and any copies of the Software made by the User. 

• This EULA does not grant the User any rights to use Licensor’s trademarks or trade names. 

3. User's Rights to the Output 

• The User retains all rights to the content and works created using the Software. The Licensor claims no ownership over the content that is created, modified, or developed using the Software. 

• Licensor will not be held liable for any claim or dispute over the content that the User creates using the Software. 

4. Disclaimer of Warranties 

• The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The Licensor disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 

• The User assumes full responsibility for determining whether the Software is suitable for their needs and for any results obtained through its use. 

5. Limitation of Liability 

• In no event shall the Licensor be liable for any damages, including but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the Software, even if the Licensor has been advised of the possibility of such damages. 

• The Licensor shall not be responsible for any claims or disputes between the User and third parties regarding the use of the Software. 

6. Termination 

• This EULA is effective until terminated. The User may terminate it at any time by destroying all copies of the Software. 

• This EULA will also terminate immediately if the User fails to comply with any term or condition of this EULA. Upon such termination, the User agrees to destroy all copies of the Software. 

7. Governing Law 

• This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country, without regard to its conflict of law principles. 

8. Entire Agreement 

• This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings regarding such subject matter. No amendment to or modification of this EULA will be binding unless in writing and signed by the Licensor. 

By using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read this EULA, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
