These textures are flat 2d masks. No gradients in the available textures that can be used as alpha brushes.

Best selection of styles that I've found! Nice that the alphas are provided individually as well as in one .psd. I had to go through and change some of the layers from an off white to white, but the file still saved me a ton of time!
