Chances are that you never knew that in most modern rendering engines, you can change the shape of your aperture for more interesting and realistic DOF, creating nice bokeh. But even then, mostly there aren´t any options on how to make the aperture shape even more realistic by adding dirt or chromatic aberration procedurally. There is one way though:
