Release Notes
1.4 Update:
1.Hoodoos Erosion Formation – Gaea
This part explores the creation of Hoodoos, the iconic eroded rock pillars found in desert and canyon environments.
Using advanced erosion nodes, sediment control, and layered height shaping inside Gaea, I walk through the full process of sculpting realistic hoodoo structures — from the base mass to the final weathered details.
These formations are ideal for fantasy worlds, stylized deserts, cinematics, and large-scale natural environments.
2. Landscape Texture Patch Workflow – Gaea → Unreal Engine
The second workflow demonstrates how to create dynamic and movable landscape patches using heightmaps from Gaea and applying them directly inside Unreal Engine.
With the Landscape Texture Patch system, you can place, move, rotate, or scale mountains, valleys, and terrain features non-destructively — giving you full control over world composition.
This technique allows rapid iteration for level design, procedural worldbuilding, and large environmental layouts
