Is this AI Generated?

NO!! I sculpted this from scratch in ZBrush (and you can purchase the 3D skull here: https://www.artstation.com/a/35594127 ) and the renders were done in Blender. And like i said above, "I have exaggerated some of the points to better showcase the forms and anatomy." So these renders will really help you to better understand and draw the skull!

Can medical students make use of this skull?

Yes and no; this sculpt was done with art anatomy in mind and not medical anatomy...  So what that means is that all the points and forms are accurate for proportions as well as the main ideas around the skull but smaller medical details like the sutures etc wont be of any use to medical students; you can certainly use this skull to learn about the different bones and landmarks but i wouldnt recommend using this skull as a reference for your next skull operation...
