Sync Settings Plugin for Marmoset Toolbag 4 & 5

This Marmoset Toolbag plugin is designed to copy and paste settings from one Mesh Object to many others, eliminating the repetitive task of toggling hundreds of checkboxes.

Includes:

Sync Settings.py Python script.

Installation:

1.  Copy and paste Sync Settings.py Python script into User Plugin Folder based on Toolbag version:
   
   C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Marmoset Toolbag 5\plugins
   OR
   C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Marmoset Toolbag 4\plugins
2. Either restart Toolbag or refresh the plugins by heading to Edit > Plugins > Refresh
3. Launch the plugin by heading to Edit > Plugins > Sync Settings

Usage:

1. Select the source object. The selection has to be a Mesh Object -objects with the blue cube icon in the outliner- for the script to work.
   
   
2. Select the attributes you want to transfer via the checkboxes provided. If you want to transfer all attributes, click the "Select All" button.
   
   
3. Click the "Copy Settings" button.
   
   
4. Select the target object. Again, the selection has to be a Mesh Object. You can select multiple target objects.
   
   
5. Click the "Paste Settings" button.

Disclaimers:

• The script is designed to work for Marmoset Toolbag 4.06b or above, but may also work earlier versions of Toolbag 4, for which no support will be provided.
• The script will crash Toolbag if you use copy and paste the subdivision level after enabling subdivision in the target mesh. While the script handles this case if the user attempts to copy multiple subdivision settings all at once, users should exercise caution and discretion when using this feature. Disabling subdivision on target Mesh Objects is strongly advised.
• The script will sync only the following attributes:
