What is this addon?

MetaBridge DNA lets you bring Epic Games MetaHuman characters into Blender, pose their faces in real time, and export them back out.

With it you can:

• Full Import/Export of MetaHuman DNA files in Blender (supports DNA, FBX, and glTF).
• Separate Head & Body management with multi-character slot saves that survive file reloads.
• Advanced Face Rig board and real-time facial expression tracking driven straight from an iPhone (ARKit Live).
• Enhanced Rigify body integration with a MetaHuman-matched 6-segment spine and custom Finger IK controls.
• Experimental Body Blend pipeline to combine 39+ archetypes (including custom child bodies) with live weight updates.
• Smart Wearables system for clothing/hair fitting, featuring a seamless Marvelous Designer round-trip (MD Live).
• Live Corrective Sculpting on top of poses, with the ability to Write edited shape keys back to the .dna file for Unreal Engine.

What's New

v2.1.1 — Cascadeur Live

Send to Cascadeur

• NEW: Live mirroring. Pose the character in Blender or in Cascadeur and the other one follows as you move, with nothing to send or receive by hand. Click Live: Mirror This Rig in the Send to Cascadeur panel to start it, and Stop Mirroring to end it.
• Choose which way poses travel: Blender to Cascadeur, Cascadeur to Blender, or Both Ways, where whichever program you are posing in is the one driving the other.
• Mapped Bones mirrors the set Send and Receive already agree about, and is on by default. Whole Skeleton mirrors every bone the two characters share by name — only correct when the Cascadeur character came from this same rig.
• Onto Rigify Controls is on by default. Poses arriving from Cascadeur land on the control rig, so the character stays fully posable and nothing fights the constraints that drive its body.
• Send the character over once before turning Live on, and again after restarting Cascadeur — the same rule Send and Receive already follow.
