Amazing Course taught by a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher. Very valuable information and skills learned and great communication from Fasttracktutorials. All the best for 2025. Chris

Hello Chris. We just received your one star review. Please note that the only refund that we received from you was on December 27 (3 days ago while being during holiday times) and we send you a message to discuss the issues... you never replied to this. the refund is set to pending during the time we send our message at which point it is out of our control and up to artstation but we find it unfair you give us a one star review while we try to work with you to resolve the issue. We have send you another message once again to discuss things.

I highly recommend it for Environment Artists who are just starting out or need some extra knowledge. It's beginner friendly regarding the software usage too, and shows an excellent breakdown of how to create this kind of environment from scratch.

As a beginner, this helped me a lot to branch off and explore various areas. The workflow presented was very efficient, it just helps you get in the "zone"

A tour d’force of effective scene visualisation and building technique - I doubt that this could be bettered. An engaging and frank presenter who does not shy from correction. I adore the set chosen for the series (although I am used to seeing plaster smoothed on wattle and daub rather than concrete, and angular roofing ceramics rather than the half circle design chosen - but the forms chosen fitted the scene perfectly and the tutorials provide a solid base for building slightly different medieval forms). Brilliant work!

Emiel is one the BEST Tutors out there. These are very well-explained videos. The tutorial helped me a lot in my learning.

the instructor is Experienced in UE5 and Adobe Designer & Painter but clearly new to Blender the explanaitions are quite long and repetitive, but you might enjoy the slower paced and step by step approach 5 stars if you're a beginner 3 stars if you're intermediate

This is one of the most useful tutorials I have ever followed. The instructor is charismatic which makes the course entertaining alongside being educational. I also appreciate that he doesn't edit out mistakes or pretend that just because he is a professional and expert that he has the answer immediately every time. Listening to and observing the way an experienced 3D artist actually works through problems is incredibly valuable, particularly for a beginners like myself and most other educators should take a page out of Emiel's book. You're expected to have at least a basic understanding of the software used and I agree that it's not complete beginner friendly. That being said I find that I'm often right on the edge of being beginner to intermediate and am relatively new to 3D art and I was able make sense of all of the material. I look forward to checking out the switching to Maya course and the Advanced Trim Sheets course when I have the extra cash. Thank you so much!
