VDPoint – Perspective grid software

VDPoint
Stands for 'Vanishing-/Direction-Point' – a perspective grid software with an attempt to mimic the behavior of compression distortion (a.k.a. lens-distortion).

Note: This software is not simulating the physically correct behavior of lens-distortion. At the current state of development it merely mimics the behavior to give a slight to moderate visual relaxation to otherwise, commonly used, linear converging lines.
Even though extrem settings are possible, it is up to the user to get the most useful setup with light to medium settings.

Core features:

• Create and export perspective grids (as PNG, on transparent background)
• 2 converging line modes: Linear/Curved
• Import images as background
• Construct the placement of new VDPoints at the intersection point of two converging lines (most useful in 'Linear' mode)
• Display 'Horizon lines' between points (currently in 'Linear' mode only)

Currently only available for Windows.
