✂️ Cloth Ripper
Cloth Ripper is a fully procedural Geometry Nodes setup that lets you rip, tear, and shred any fabric using Geometry Nodes.
It’s fast, easy to use, and fully supports animation, UVs, and dynamic control over how and where your fabric breaks apart.
I originally made this modifier while working on a pair of torn denim shorts, and I needed something that supported animation. Tear Painter as you may already know it, Didn't support animation in that time( It does now). That's why I created this modifier.
At first I planned to release it for free, but as I kept improving and expanding it, I decided to set a fair price out of respect for Tear Painter’s existence.
Still, whether you’re a hobbyist or an indie developer who can’t afford the tool, you can contact me, and I’ll gladly send it to you for Free. Alternatively, I’ve uploaded a tutorial on my YouTube channel explaining the basic logic behind the modifier, so you can replicate it yourself.
The node setup is clean and easy to understand and learn.
