This tutorial shows my typical process from begining to end. The bulk of the work is done in Photoshop, with a lot of photobashing, but I will start from doodling to building a 3D scene in Blender, all the way to a polished, finished piece.
The photo pack that I used is provided with that tutorial.
This is not a beginner level tutorial, however, you don't need to be an expert either. Just being already familiar with Blender and Photoshop, will allow you to make your way through, and hopefully come out with an awesome piece!
What you get:
The medieval photopack that I shot and used for that tutorial - 395 4K photos from 4 different locations in the South West of France
Over 3h30 of narrated videos
Around 3 hours of Blender + Photoshop Timelapses videos

Honestly one of the best tutorials out there. No rambling and BS, just straight to the point. He explains his thought process while walking you through creating a piece step-by-step. He also explains a ton of techniques that will help you excel with this type of artwork. Definitely recommend!

I've been waiting for Romain to release a tutorial of some sort like this for some time, so I was super excited when this popped up.
I really enjoyed going through this. The tutorials and videos are very thorough and really break down Romain's workflow. There is a huge amount of information here which is really useful, and the tutorial isn't too long which meant I felt like I could go through everything.
I'm really looking forward to whatever is released next. I'd love to see a bit more of the process of coming up with the ideas and the thought process behind initial concept, framing, colours and storytelling.
