Dynamic Ornament Kit Vol. 7 brings together a customizable Substance Painter Path Tool, seamless ZBrush trim brushes, 4K alphas, and high- and low-poly 3D models. Add decorative borders, sculpted accents, and ornamental surface details to furniture, architectural elements, props, and environments.

What’s New in Vol. 7

The key improvement in this volume is a more direct Substance Painter workflow: select an ornament and draw it along a path without a separate manual masking step.

Customize the ornament’s layout, relief, color, and surface finish through the exposed parameters. Shape the decorative detail to suit your asset, from raised metallic trim to an engraved appearance.

Substance Painter Path Tool — Customization

• Ornament selection: Choose the ornament design directly from the preset’s menu.
• Width and repetition: Adjust ornament width and repeats per patch to control the pattern’s proportions and repetition.
• Pattern alignment: Use Horizontal Phase to shift the pattern’s horizontal alignment.
• Orientation: Flip the ornament horizontally or vertically.
• Relief controls: Adjust Height / Engraving, Relief Profile, and Procedural Micro Relief to refine the surface detail.
• Material controls: Customize Base Color / Tint, Roughness, and Metallic to suit your material.
• Surface variation: Adjust Detail Repeats and Roughness Variation to refine the finish.

Customizable Surface Finishes

Give your ornaments additional surface character with procedural grain, fine noise, horizontal or vertical brushing, cross brushing, hammered dimples, fine pits, scratches, and a wavy finish.

A Custom Grayscale Texture option is also available for incorporating your own surface detail. Choose None when you want to keep the ornament free of additional surface texture.

ZBrush Trim Brushes

Create seamless ornamental borders and trims in ZBrush with the included .ZBP brushes. Use them to sculpt decorative details into furniture, frames, architectural pieces, and other assets.

The included alphas and mesh files provide additional options for sculpting, modeling, and texturing workflows.
