Build a creature’s silhouette around its wings. 3D Tudor’s Demon Wing Generator combines editable Blender Geometry Nodes, procedural wing movement and four prepared designs, with baked Unreal Engine examples and FBX previews included.
Shape the wings around your character
Start with broad red membranes, a compact scalloped shape, a swept bone structure or bronze bat-like wings. Adjust span, height, cupping and tip sweep before refining the fingers, panel shapes and membrane edges. The Blender setup exposes 164 controls, excluding its geometry input, so you can explore a new silhouette without rebuilding the node graph.
Use the prepared examples to compare proportions. The character renders demonstrate scale and presentation; the included demon preview body is static.
Refine membranes, bones and surface treatment
Control membrane thickness, tension, wrinkles and scalloping alongside bones, ridges and claws. Material and UV controls let you change the surface treatment while keeping the wing structure editable. Custom-object inputs provide another route for shaping details.
Add motion in Blender
Pose the wings and tune flap speed, strength, independent timing and wave movement. The procedural controls support exploration of wing motion; this is not a complete character flight controller or a retargetable anatomical character rig.
What is included?
- Editable Blender generator and prepared wing examples, inspected in Blender 5.2.2.
- Four named wing designs: Broad Six Panel, Compact, Swept Bone and Bronze Bat.
- Packed image resources in the inspected Blender file, including the main 2K texture maps.
- Optional exporter with its own installation notes.
- Unreal Engine 5.8.3 project containing four baked wing variants with morph-target movement and three LODs.
- Exported FBX previews with companion textures and support files.
- Static demon preview body for presentation.
Each Unreal wing variant contains 24 sampled morph targets. These are movement samples, not 24 separate animation clips. The Unreal examples use a stationary root. FBX previews and baked Unreal examples do not preserve the editable Blender Geometry Nodes generator.
Start with the workflow you need
For editable wings, extract the Blender archive and open the supplied scene in Blender 5.2.2. Choose a prepared example and adjust its modifier. When moving the setup into another scene, append the complete collection with its dependencies.
For the baked examples, open the included Unreal project in Unreal Engine 5.8.3. Keep the exported FBX previews with their companion textures and support files. Compatibility with earlier versions and other engines has not been verified.
Frequently asked questions
Can I create bat-like wings as well as demon wings?
Yes. The prepared Bronze Bat design and shape controls provide a starting point for bat-like membranes and proportions.
Is the demon character animated?
No. The included preview body is static. Procedural and baked motion applies to the wings.
Do both licence options contain the same downloads?
Yes. Choose Standard or Extended Commercial according to the ArtStation licence terms displayed with each variant. The files are the same.
