A procedural Eyeball - Generator

This is a Procedural Eyball - Generator made in Substance Designer. The Generator is easy to use and a lot of parameters to give you as much artistic freedom as possible. The included presets should help you to get started.

How to use the generator

  • To use the .sbsar-file without Substance Designer you have to download Substance Player (Substance Player | Substance Player (adobe.com) )
  • Open the .sbsar - File you like
    • the eyeball_generator.sbsar is the complete generator exporting all the maps for all three parts of the eyeball (Iris, Sclera, Cornea)
    • the eyeball_generator_single_nodes.sbsar contains a single material for the three parts of the eyeball (Iris, Sclera, Cornea)
  • Play with the parameters until you reached the result you like
  • export the maps as images
  • open the 3D Software you like and import one of the basemeshes, or create your own mesh
  • import the PBR-Maps and setup your material

It works in the free player, exports out the .png files I want [exports to several file types]. Lots of dials to adjust :-)

The iris' are really good. The sclera, not so much. Overall, lots of options to play with and tweak.

I cannot get anything to export from substance painter at all! Within SP the Cornea obscures everything! Total waste of money! Oh, don't get me started on the lack of instructions all you get is what's on the product page which might as well say open it and use it!
