does what it says on the tin—lot of deeply layered materials in it and worth saying if you can use even just one in a project the amount of time you save would be worth the purchase price. still getting stuck into it all but I believe there's also some good value in being able to crib portions of the layer stack onto developed wood base materials. all the layers are labeled descriptively enough as to what they do, but despite being straight forward they somewhat lack information on why they're there or what function the provide. one inherent downside is that, because the materials are very densely composed it can be difficult to sort out intuitively what, for example, the effect of changing one of 9 mask fill components does. that's not really a criticism of the pack but just generally of trying to navigate smart materials someone else has built, or at least one built from 22 odd layers. that's just parr for the course.
