Jewel Shader UE5

This is a jewel material I created for one of my 3D projects in Unreal Engine. I've included two versions of the shader in the pack. The Hero version is comprised of two materials - an outer translucent material to capture environment reflections, and an inner opaque material to mimic refracting light. The cheap version is a single opaque material that fakes the interior depth. The Hero version is great for cinematic close-ups while the Cheap version is optimized for real-time rendering.

The shader gives you control over the jewel's color, sparkles, opacity, dustiness, and more.

Shader Optimization.

I was able to reduce the instruction count for both MM_Jewel_Inner and MM_Jewel_Cheap by replacing the steps for the chromatic aberration effect with just an aberrated texture (duh!). MM_Jewel_Inner went from 420 instructions down to 245. MM_Jewel Cheap went from 349 instructions down to 177. Enjoy the improved performance!
