I purchased them because it said it included the alpha PSD files for use outside of Brush. Unfortunately none of them have a black background which makes them unusable unless you are happy with a box border around each fold

Since the sculpting brushes utilize displacement maps, the exported alphas have a 128 mid-value which creates both additive and subtractive surface relief simultaneously. I sent you a message with instructions on how to use these maps in Substance Painter. The alphas should be loaded into the height channel input of a Paint Layer, then drawn onto the surface with the Basic Soft brush. This approach will solve your border issue!
