Stripmines and Equipment


An assortment of more than 570 images taken from a variety of strip mines, coal surface mines, open pit mines including big excavators, conveyor belts, vehicles big and small, equipment big and small, mining dumps, dirt and sand stockpiles and environmental shots. Images have been taken in a variety of light conditions. The majority of the images come in clear resolution of 6000 X 4000 px, exported as jpg in high quality.
Those images can be used as references for Concept Art, Matte-Paintings, Environment Art, Illustrations or for generating Textures.

Most of best pictures are seen in the previews. Expected more closeups in the actual quarry and then detail shots for material making purposes.

Thank you very much for your feedback, I appreciate it. I always try to find the best average lineup of images for the previews showing the pack as a whole and with more than 550 images it's quite a task so that you will be able to estimate what you get beforehand. Hearing that those are the best fitting images makes me happy :) Even if the pack is not specifically aimed at closeup shots, which the previews also show, theres still a great variety of images showing details. Maybe another pack of mine would be a good addition ? Have a look at my "Mining 2" photo reference pack - it mostly covers equipment, belts, buildings, storage and detail shots of silica and quartz mines. But keep in mind, this pack is a little bit smaller with only 250 images. Feel free to also have a look at the previews or on my portfolio where I show some more images from the pack. All the best

Brillant quality, well worth the money. Amazing scale and a really good variety of shots including very cool industrial equipment and a lot of landscape shots, great for photobashing

So much detail and cool little elements captured here. Even has some night shots, which are immensely helpful!
