We will start Getting to know the 3D Coat and its environment. then we learn how to set up our reference image and project. after that, we will learn how to sculpt in both Voxel and Surface modes. After sculpting, we will learn how to work with shaders. Ultimately, we will learn how to make a beauty render using the 3D-Coat render engine.

I bought this course to learn more about texturing, UVing, how to utilize modeling and sculpting, to learn about strongest points of 3DCoat. However, author uses the software in such way that it in fact shows weak points of 3D Coat, often struggles to get tools to work and blames them to be buggy. This course focuses entirely on sculpting tools and doesn't touch anything else which is a shame because 3D Coat offers so much more. At the last video author tells how he rendered his image in Maya, without teaching us how to UV the model, prepare it for export, how to retopo, how to bake normal map...none of it! There is nothing you can really learn here except to watch artist's sculpting process. Avoid this course!

I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulty with the course. This could not have happened if you watched the course introduction or read the course description. The description and intro to the course specifically mention and I quote: "WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: -How 3D Coat works -Sculpting in Voxel Mode -Sculpting in Surface Mode -Working with shaders -Rendering" and nothing else!! Please don't blame others for your mistakes.

Well thought out and showed many techniques for sculpting and creating the base mesh all within 3d Coat
