This is a great reference pack, the images are super detailed and will be really useful for scenes from a fantasy novel I'm illustrating with a bunch of giant spiders and insects! Huge variety of very high quality shots, definitely recommended!

Insects! Spiders! I do not need this - it would be a rare time when I might draw any of these creatures, but good to have it ready when I do. Here is the thing - I bought this because they are SPECTACULAR pictures. Absolutely magnificent. So incredible to show the kids, better than any book I might buy on the subject, or any pics I have seen elsewhere. The value is tremendous. Now, as an artist - inspiration from the shapes, forms and textures of these creatures. You can use them for subtle suggestion in other forms. Copying the texture in an item of clothing, for example. Such will have an unconscious affect on the viewer. Really pleased with this set.
