1. Grant of Rights
The Author grants the Licensee (an educational institution, instructor, or training provider) a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, perpetual license to make the Content available as authenticated, online “view‑only” access for an unlimited number of students, strictly for non‑commercial educational purposes.
2. Permitted Use
The Licensee may download the original files from ArtStation after purchase solely for internal preparation and hosting.
Host the Content only on the Licensee’s own protected, login‑gated platform (LMS, school/university portal, etc.) with view‑only access after sign‑in.
Use within classes, demonstrations, reviews, assignments, and internal training/self‑study by students.
Display via projector/screen sharing during lessons/webinars.
3. Prohibited Use
Students must not be provided downloadable copies of the original files or archives (including via direct/public links).
No distribution, re‑upload to public access, resale, gifting, or transfer of the Content (in whole or in substantial part), whether free or for a fee.
The Content may not be included in competing/substitute products, stock libraries, reference packs, datasets, or templates.
No commercial use (advertising/client projects, merchandise, etc.).
The Content or derivatives must not be used to train AI/ML and/or to build datasets.
Do not remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks, or metadata (if present).
4. Access and Security
The Licensee implements reasonable anti‑download/anti‑bulk‑capture measures: disabling direct links to originals/archives, enabling view‑only/streaming modes, restricting access to authenticated users only, and preventing indexing/public listings. In the event of a leak, the Licensee promptly restricts access and notifies the Author.
5. Users
“Students” include learners and course staff such as instructors/assistants. An unlimited number of end users is permitted provided access remains authenticated and non‑public.
6. Term and Termination
The license is perpetual. In case of a material breach by the Licensee, the Author may terminate the license; upon termination, the Licensee must remove the Content from all platforms and cease use.
7. Ownership
All rights in the Content remain with the Author. No rights other than those expressly granted under this license are transferred.
8. Attribution
Credit to the Author is appreciated but not required.
9. Assignment and Sublicensing
The license may not be assigned or sublicensed without the Author’s prior written consent.
10. Warranties and Liability
The Content is provided “as is,” without warranties. The Author’s maximum aggregate liability under this license is limited to the amount paid for the license, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Compatibility with ArtStation Rules
This license is prepared for use on ArtStation as an Individual License Agreement and clarifies the scope of rights between the Author and the Licensee within the limits allowed by the ArtStation Marketplace EULA and the Platform Terms of Service. It does not modify or override the Marketplace EULA/ToS and imposes no obligations on ArtStation/Epic. Where any provision could be read ambiguously, the interpretation consistent with ArtStation’s rules shall apply.
