Instantly Bring some life to your custom characters & Unreal Engines MetaHumans, By having them Realistically look at and watch you when you are seen by them.
This is a Fully rewritten and vastly improved Head look system from my previous released project ( NPC, natural head and eye tracking )
Created from scratch In Unreal Engine 5, Now the head look system is activated by AI detection and is able to automatically track the nearest detected actor on the fly. The system Now has a improved natural head look movement from initial detection when seen, and then returning to the default animation when loosing sight ( no more unnatural head snapping ). Also now its fully compatible with Metahumans and there are 2 example setups available. Simply add the Track Actor as a child actor to any Actor Blueprint or even add multiple
EG: Tracking a VR players head and both hands all at the same time, the NPC character will look at the closest Tracked actor dynamically.
As a bonus there is a METAHUMAN that has been setup to work as the default UE5 third person character Blueprint and is also controlled By an AI system that will wonder about and approach you when you are seen, and realistically watch you until they loose sight and return to wondering about again.
