I lost a lot of time, for lack of preview for each tile (which are graphically very unreadable "at sight") and see the expected result... I had a very positive first appreciation, on the spot, with a very precise tile.
Today, on another project (where I don't like to waste time), I notice that I lost almost 2 hours to test each alpha... and I'm a bit disconcerted by the results.
Now, I even try to reproduce (zbrush, surface function) the example indicated... lost pain.
Moreover, many tiles are not really seamless... unless you use another and laborious technique.
Unless the author indicates indicative previews for each tile (alphas which, I remind you, are rather diffuse and don't really help, unless you waste time testing the result, sometimes very disappointing) I will revisit my note... even if I would have preferred not to put a note at all.
