which has 7 Stripes with 6 SMD 5050 RGBW chips soldered on a pcb. Every LED emits light, controled by a color map input or a color parameter.
This material created in Substance Designer (optimized for the Metallic/Roughness Workflow) allows you to create a LED-Stripe Material and control the color and intensity of every single pixel to fit exaclty your needs. This material has over 25 exposed parameters, to give you as much freedom as possible.
I also had the chance to write a breakdown for therookies.co on that material, so make sure you check this out as well (The Rookies Breakdown Article)
The real dimensions of one stripe is 84mm x 12mm x 1.7mm (the height value has been multiplied by the factor of 10 to preserve more height details)
Set the intensity and color emitted light of every single LED
Adjust wear and scratches to give the stripe a used look
