Layer cake theory. I've never even HEARD of layer cake theory before! But, it's something I can look at and recognize as an idea I've instinctively tried to use because it "looked right". Seeing all of the examples demo'd for us really helped to cement the concepts in a way that made the underlying shapes clear, while showcasing the wide variety of ways in which they could be utilized. Now that I understand it better, I'll be able to use it on purpose!!! The painting demo's beautiful as well!!

Neat tutorial, although I wish we had the shapes to practice on.

Good concept, but the tutorial is really repetitive; instead of showing different approaches, the author doing the same thing over and over again.
