I'm a beginner to Substance and could still follow Jimmy really well... it looks absolutely fantastic and I hope I will be able to adjust to make my own stylized textures.

Thx a lot Nathalie! And I am pretty sure that you will be able to do that too!

Very useful tutorial, it's a kickstarter in the handpainted texture styles and even is not a step by step tutorial (which I think was the best approach because would be too dense to see) worth every minute to understand how you can achieve this kind of style. Again, very useful, great price and your English is perfect! Congratulations. I hope you can try the new 3dCoat Textura and show us your magic with it. Cheers!

This tutorial is awesome, I learned a lot of new tricks to achieve that painterly look. It's obvious that there was a huge amount of work that went into this video as well, really great job!

The asset is phenomenal. Yes, his english is not that good, but you can understand even if english is not your primary language (my case). 10 bucks for this material is totally worth it.

A must watch if you are following this style. The graph itselft is well documented, theres really versatile utility nodes that i can see myself reuse constantly, the video and pdf breakdown is the cherry one top.

Hi! I'm new to Substance Designer. After finishing a hand-by-hand tutorial on youtube, I turned to this tutorial from CaponeArt's recommendation after only two days' learning. I'm not a native English speaker but the accent of the author doesn't stop me from finishing this tutorial. The explanations are really good and detailed. I learned a lot from it and finished a work of my own. It looks pretty good but I just don't know how to represent it properly, like on a material. Anyway, thank you very much! Five stars!

Super useful and informative tutorial, I learned a lot! The style achieved in this is very cool. A small bit of feedback Is that many times I wish you zoomed in on the node graph more as I cant read what certain nodes are which you don't mention aloud on account of the video compression. Also occasionally you don't show the entire part of the graph you are currently explaining which can be confusing. Perhaps just slowly pan around and zoom in very close so all relevant nodes are visible for at least a few frames. Still an amazing and invaluable tutorial overall though!
