Marmoset to Painter Auto Assign Baked textures

In today's video, I want to share a helpful tip inspired by a tweet from Pilgrim. He explains and demonstrates how to ensure that baked textures in Marmoset are automatically assigned to the correct slots in Substance Painter.

Here’s the list of suffixes you need: 

_ambient_occlusion 

_curvature ScalpingKnife_id 

_normal_base 

_thickness 

_world_space_normals

But I’ve gone a step further and prepared a Marmoset file for you that makes this process even easier.

Simply download the Marmoset file I’ve provided. When you open it, you’ll see it’s an empty scene with a configured baker. Click on the baker and scroll all the way to the bottom of the settings, where the bake texture list is located. In this file, I’ve already corrected all the suffixes. All you need to do is click ‘Presets’ and then ‘Save as Default’.

From now on, whenever you create a new project in Marmoset, the correct settings will be automatically applied.
