STW Image Filter Suite

A suite of parametric filters for Adobe Photoshop (BETA) that will expand your creative arsenal. Each filter comes with presets and has parameters exposed for tine tuning and experimentation.

Please read the 'Info - STW Image Filter Suite.pdf' for instructions on how to install the Adobe Photoshop Beta and filters.

The filters are in sbsar file format so they can also be used in any Substance 3D software that supports that format. Input images must be in color/RGB.

STW Paint Stroke Filter - Applies paint strokes and brush texture to imitate a hand painted look.

STW Cross Hatch Filter - Applies a cross hatching effect that tries to imitate a hand drawn or etched look.

STW Stylize Filter - Applies a dreamy, stylized effect to the image.

STW RGB Mask Filter - Applies a filter similar to a CRT shader but with a lot of freedom for creativity and experimentation.

STW Triangulate Filter - Applies a multi layered filter of traingle shapes.

STW Streaks Filter - Turns the image into streaks.

STW Vector Mush Filter - Wildly distorts the image.

STW Color Bleed Filter - This is a more advanced version of a color bleed or chromatic abberation filter with options to fine tune for each RGB channel.

STW Disc Matrix Filter - Applies a stylistic filter with disc shape patterns.

STW Kaleidoscope Filter - Applies a kaleidoscope filter effect to the input image, with options for fine tuning and tweaking.

STW Shredder Filter - Applies a filter that distorts the input image.

STW Nice NormalMap Filter - Generates a normal from image based on a weighted blend between highpass and lowpass frequencies. Default settings are identical to regular normal map node.

STW Slope Filter – Generates a filter effect by creating a slope mask for each channel.

STW Channel Multiswitch - R, G and B channels can be freely switched with each other plus inverted versions and an averaged version. Additional options for shifting and blurring histograms for creative effects.

STW Repeat Filter - Repeats the image over itself x number of times randomly or controlled.

Bug Fixes:

STW Vector Mush Filter – A problem where Quantize G and B channel parameters were not hooked up correctly was fixed.
