Leveraging his experience on creating vegetation for both Far Cry Primal & Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Jobye will outline the modular approach he took to tackle the vegetation in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War’s 5 open world levels, as the sole dedicated content artist on vegetation. His talk will cover a unique take in vegetation creation as he takes you through the process of creating Trees, Gameplay Bushes & Ground Foliage from end to end for the game. Throughout, Pros & Cons will be shared, as well as areas where there’s Room For Improvement. Key takeaways from that process at the end will be shared as well as lots of tips and tricks along the way. The audience should come away with good knowledge to start building a vegetation pipeline for their project, if it warrants it.
