Welcome to the SD Survival Kit, an introduction to Designer I wanted to do for a while now. I always have been a huge sharing advocate and hope it wil be useful.
This Part 1 is about the very Basics, shapes, volume creation, blending, sculpt, noise management and vocabulary you will need if you want to create a material inside Designer.
I'm going to create several Parts, each one dealing with a different topic.
The Survival Kit is here to help by providing simple node recipes, all in one graph with explanations.
It is more a ready use glossary than an actual tutorial or exhaustive documentation.
I tried to keep things simple and easy to read so don't hesitate to give me your feedbackss. Let me know what you want for the next Part !
Thanks a lot to Jimmy Malachier, Jeryce Dianingana, Alberto Cordero and Daniel J. Robichon for the feedbacks and text corrections ^^ !
Happy substancing !
Because few people can't open the sbs due to version issues, I made some screengrabs of the graphs. It's not as useful as opening the sbs but I hope it will still help a bit.
