The Assai palm trees (Euterpe oleracea/Euterpe precatoria) growth in tidal fresh water swamps and in regularly inundated areas along rivers and streams in all Amazonian jungle rainforest. Those palms can be sawn on terra firme or also on poorly drained soil.
