This course series is about an environment creation walkthrough where I show some of the techniques I use
in order to achieve the style I want.
Even though this course is still useful for very beginners, it is not expected to answer all of their questions.
Prerequisities for this course:
-knowing how to use a computer.
-having a basic understanding of 3D and it’s terminology.
-being comfortable with one the 2D editing softwares such as photoshop.
What you will learn from this walkthrough:
-my thought process and creative choices.
-some basic modeling techniques.
-scene organization and model preparation.
What you may not learn in this course:
-Don’t expect to learn photoshop nor Maya in this course; that’s not the main purpose.
-Don’t expect that you, as a beginner will be able to model a full environment
just by following this course step by step.
Please keep in mind that the full process has been post-recorded; which means that the tutorial is not
entirely in real-time. For example, I will just be modeling a portion of the car and then skip to the finished one.
I also won’t be modeling the environment nor painting it in real-time.
As a beginner, you may, at some times find yourself lost when it comes to following the steps exactly, as I will be skipping some major ones such as UV mapping and the in-depth workflow in texturing.
