This blew my mind. I was having a hard time transitioning from greyscale to color and this helped me understand color in relation to one another - through grey! It was easy to understand, I will definitely purchase part 2.

Absolutely blown away - color theory has always been very daunting to me, and the way Wes explains it made it a loss less scary and much easier to wrap my head around without being scattered between all these different traditional concepts. Thank you, Wes!

PLEASE DO A VOL.2!!!!! PLEASEE!! it's a very refreshing look..If this was an actual class and at the point where you introduced the black color mode..I'd joke, "So actually we can just color the way were use to but just go 50% on opacity and we'd all be happy" lol! anyway, thank you for sharing please do a volume 2!

Amazing course. It really helped me get a baseline understanding of color and how it interacts with each other. I think 50% grey is quickly going to be come my new favorite color for painting too now, haha!!

Such an eye-opening video, my mind was blown multiple times! I've watched many tutorials about colour theory but none of them was as didactic as this one. Besides, Wes shares concepts that I have never heard before and really made me think about colour differently. The video is very informative, concise and no matter if you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced artist, I bet you'll find great knowledge here. This is definitely a must-watch for anyone interested in improving their understanding of colour theory. Definitely looking forward to Vol. 2!

Very glad I stumbled across this tutorial. For the price of a cup of coffee or a small load of laundry I learned more about color theory than I ever have in a single sitting. It's not that I hadn't heard it before--I've been hearing it for years--it's just that it's never been explained in such a way that made me feel like I could immediately apply it in a practical way. Repeated viewings are in my future.
