Texture Roller Brush for Substance Painter
(Substance Painter 2019.1.0 or above)
This brush trimmed input images and stamp and switch gradually as the stroke progressed.
I aimed at feature like Alpha Roll of Zbrush.

how to use

1. import sppr file into your Substance painter Shelf.
2. find TextureRollerBrush in brush shelf.
3. Set your brush alpha or image to input image.
4. having fun with brush:)

notice

• It works well with mild curves fortunately,
  But brush will be broken looks if it is a steep curve.
  We can handle this with parameters of hardness, hardness gamma modify, slicer width.
• Brush spacing option and step cycle count must be set manually,
  this two parameters affect image ratio.
  (cycle count = 200 / spacing) matchs image ratio
  increase cycle count, image will look shrunk.
  decrease cycle count, image will look stretched.

Texture Roller Brushは、ZbrushのAlpha Rollのように、
入力画像をブラシ方向に沿って描くブラシです。
(Substance Painter 2019.1.0以上が必要)

使い方

1. sppr fileをSubstance painterのシェルフに登録します。
2. ブラシのシェルフから、TextureRollerBrushを選択します。
3. input imageにアルファや画像を設定します。
4. 自由に描きます:)

注意点

• 緩やかなカーブではそれっぽく描かれますが、急なカーブでは途切れてしまいます。
  hardness, hardness gamma modify, slicer widthなどのパラメータで調整できます。
• ブラシ間隔とstep cycle countは手動で設定します。
  この二つのパラメータはイメージの比率に影響します。
  (cycle count = 200 / spacing)で正しい比率になり、
  cycle countを増やせば, イメージが縮み、
  cycle countを減らせべ, イメージが伸びるといった具合です。

브러시의 알파이미지를 브러시 방향에 따라 왜곡시켜주는 브러시입니다.

사용방법

1. sppr file을 Substance painter의 셸프에 임포트합니다.
2. 브러시 셸프에서, TextureRollerBrush를 찾아서 선택합니다.
3. input image에 이미지를 설정합니다.
4. 자유롭게 그려봅니다:)

주의점

• 급격한 커브에서는 브러시가 끊겨보이게됩니다.
  hardness, hardness gamma modify, slicer width등의 패러미터로 어느정도 조절이 가능합니다.
• 브러시 spacing과 step cycle count를 변경하는경우
  이미지의 비율에 영향을 줍니다.
  딱맞는 비율로 설정하고 싶은 경우는 (cycle count = 200 / spacing)로 계산하고.
  cycle count를 높이면, 이미지가 찌부러지고,
  cycle count를 낮추면, 이미지가 늘어납니다.
