Over the course of our work, we’ve come to understand that Unreal Engine offers powerful capabilities for groom shading, but the necessary tools are scattered across the engine and require deep technical knowledge.

We spent a long time gathering best practices, experimenting with material and lighting setups. We eventually packaged it all into one user-friendly tool that makes creating realistic and visually appealing hair much easier.

Hair Tool 2.0 is the perfect solution for artists who want to achieve high-quality results quickly and without unnecessary hassle.

- Add Voxelization SkyLight intensity parameter(SkyLighting_Intensity). 
- Add Sequencer animated parameters. It will only work in PIE\Play\MRQ mode.
- Add additional tooltips and parameter limiters.
- New default value for PPLL Sample Per Pixel. From 64 to 16.
- In “L_Hair_LookDev” added additional PPV “PPV_Lumen_GI_Megalight_on” to work with “MegaLights”. If you want to test “MegaLights”, turn off “Infinite Extent” checkbox in “PPV_Lumen_GI_Megalight_off” and turn on “PPV_Lumen_GI_Megalight_on”. Only for 5.6+
