About That node brings to Substance Designer boolean operation effect between two height maps.
General Idea When I was working on my latest personal sci-fi project in Substance Designer I was struggling with creating complex shapes with default nodes. Soon I realize that creating height map for hard surface will be much easier with simple boolean operations between shape heights. Its more natural to use and much more predictable in terms of simple blend of different heights. So I spend some time to polish that node and end with 70% of height blending in my graph made using it.
How To Use
Top Max Height slider you controls maximum height value of top layer. Top Min Height slider you controls floor level of top layer. Bottom Max Height slider you controls maximum height value of bottom layer. Bottom Min Height slider you controls floor level of bottom layer. Opacity slot adds mask for top layer height.
