Justin Gerard’s Monster of the Month Brush Sets have been developed to give illustrators digital tools for sketching and drawing that simulate the look and feel of traditional tools. This set offers 100 unique Brushes for Photoshop and Procreate that simulate PENCIL, WATERCOLOR, OIL and other natural textures. Each brush was hand-designed using samples of actual pencil strokes, oil daubs, and watercolor blossoms on a variety of paper surfaces. They have been refined over the course of the past two years so that their tool settings are highly optimized. They will save the artist time and energy while also providing highly-nuanced, varied and interesting brush-work, line-work, and texture.

Each of the 100 brushes in this set contains built-in characteristics such as opacity, flow, special modes and textural effects that make each one handle in unique ways. Please consult the Brush Guide in the sample images for some helpful tips on how to use the brushes to their fullest potential.

These brushes have been rigorously tested and I have used them extensively during the past 2 years in each of the paintings you can see in my Artstation Portfolio. They represent the very best of my current brush line-up.

COMPATIBILITY : This brush set is compatible with Photoshop CC on both Mac and PC, as well as Procreate, and Affinity Photo. In the download, you may choose the .ABR file for Photoshop or the .Brushset file for Procreate. Please consult the attached installation guide for help installing the brushes.

These brushes are great! I do wish that there had been a PDF included that consisted of the preview images for the brushes. It's not as easy to see what marks they can make straight from the brush menu, and it would have been really handy. I ended up making my own from screenshots.

This creator has some of the best brush packs I've seen that are easy to use and can be used for a ton of different things - I felt incredibly inspired the moment I tried them out. Worth every penny!

Great brushes for photoshop. I like how they're small focused sets. They work well and create a variety of realistic natural medium texture. Unfortunately, although they work ok in Procreate they don't translate quite as well and they're all dumped into one brushset. Still worth a purchase if you're looking for natural media brushes.
