This tutorial is aimed at 2D artists who are interested in using Blender to make concept art and illustrations. We'll be using Blender, Daz3d, and Adobe Photoshop.
This tutorial includes almost 3 hours of narrated lessons where I go over the techniques I use in detail. It also includes a sped up timelapse video (without narration) of a full illustration, as well as the Blender file for that piece.
The lessons cover:
Navigation and Objects
Blocking in a Scene
Posing a Character in Daz3D
The tutorial aims to be beginner friendly, but it might be wise to do some Youtube tutorials first. Go make a donut before picking this up!
Thanks so much for buying this tutorial! I realised I forgot to attach the cloud and gradient images I used in Lesson 8 where we go over Images As Planes, so I've added them now. Also please let me know what you think of the tutorial, it'd be very much appreciated!

Excellent tutorial! Easy to follow. I have been wanting to incorporate Blender into my 2D workflow and this covers everything extremely well. The Daz model into blender is something I was also wanting to figure out, and this was very helpful with that.

Great tutorial for 2D artists that want to learn how to integrate 3D into their work or use 3D as reference for a piece. Blender is free and an amazing tool to learn for either 2D/3D artists, and this tutorial is perfect for learning the basics. It also has some more in-depth knowledge of Blender as well, in regards to sculpting/modeling for building a scene/environment. I highly recommend this tutorial, as there is a ton of knowledge that you can apply in multiple ways to your own work.

I learned how to use Blender in 1 day from ZERO with this, it's made so everyone can understand and even the simplest things are well explained, I love it! I really suggest this to every artist who wants to add that spice to backgrounds with the right perspective

Wow such an in-depth process, great tips and processes in using blender to help layout a 2d painter. There are some many ways the teaching can be used to create images. I'll be using these primarily to help me create comic book to set up environment back grounds etc.
Definitely such a bargain for the amount of content here.Highly recommend this tutorial.
