This is the model used for our animation clip released 2 years ago and called Gremlin as well.
This model is created in Maya 2019 using Arnold for shading, at the scene you will find a basic light setup to check the shading:
Model not totally ready for animation, the included rigging was created just to use it at animation clip, if you are animator trying to find a good rigged character for extreme animations, this one wouldn´t the appropiate one. Feel free to improve it. A couple of shapes are included at model, like closed eyes and up and down brows, selecting the jaw control called Evil_gremlin_JawC, you can see at this video, some features of this basic rig https://youtu.be/4boh7jsZTtw

roughness map 2k
The mohawk hair is created in maya nhair.
Instructions: Extract zip content, you should have sourceimages folder and scenes folder inside a gremlin directory, set up maya project, clicking yes when ask about create default workspace, open the scene gremlinMaya19_v02.ma and everything should work fine, check it rendering one frame from main camera.
