This pack contains a collection of 45 seamless high-quality texture materials to use with UV-mapped objects and environments.
Each texture comes in seamless 4K resolution png-files, including normals, height map (displacement), smoothness (inverse of roughness), and if applicable, metallic map.
Additionally to the material textures, I've thrown in 5 high resolution leaves with alpha channels, height-map, normals, and smoothness maps that can be used to spread life to digital trees. Lastly, I've added 2 Japanese manhole textures (also including all maps, one even seamlessly tileable) that I've photographed near where I live as a small bonus.
All in all, the pack includes the following:
- 5 Asphalt materials
- 2 Brick materials
- 7 Concrete materials
- 2 Dirt materials
- 4 Grass materials
- 2 Gravel materials
- 1 Marmor material
- 1 Dark, scratched Metal material
- 1 Moss material
- 1 Pavement material
- 2 Rock materials
- 3 Mossy Rock materials
- 3 Sand materials
- 1 Snow material
- 5 Stone materials
- 3 Tree Bark materials
- 2 Undergrowth materials
- 1 Seamlessly tileable Japanese manhole
- 1 Not-tileable Japanese manhole
- 5 leaf textures with alpha channels and all maps to use with particle systems
Each folder also contains a small preview image for the respective material set.
Due to the high resolution and amount of materials in this pack, it has a file size of 4.2 GB on the hard drive.
You can download a free demo-pack containing 5 materials in 1K resolution (1 grass, 1 gravel, 1 rock, 1 sand, 1 tree bark).
I wanted to provide the free pack in at least 2K resolution, but I had to stay under 50 Mb for the free version.
Tip: If you are in need of roughness maps instead of smoothness maps, these are essentially just inverted. Use a color inverter in between the texture and the shader, or simply open them up in an image software like photoshop or gimp and inverse the colors. You can also gain more control over the effects by using color ramps in your set-ups.
