Generate 4 types of slope masking for weather effects like wetness, snow, algae and moss.
The four options are:
- Basic mesh normals (up vector only, with editable soft transitions)
- Normals (up vector based on normals, editable contrast/transitions)
- Masked (mesh normals with transition breakup using mask of your choice)
- Masked + Normals (combination of all previous three types)
Check box for enabling slope breakup.
Using numbers 1 - 3 will switch the type.
Adjusting offset will shift the transition up or down the mesh while contrast will tighten or soften the blend.
Just drop the function into your material and use the output as the alpha for your lerp input, material layer mask, etc.
A negative contrast will invert your slope mask.
