JAY is one of my ever oldest 3D figures which i created when i started modeling with Zbrush. For long time this was a never finished and forgotten project. First now when experimenting with Unreal i remembered tis one and couldn't resist to make it useable and animate it as a game character.
This package includes 2 folders. The main folder includes 1 obj.file, 1 fbx.file and the texture files for import in any 3D software. The folder "Jay_ani" contains the JAY figure and animations which are tested in Unreal Engine. There's also a heightmap landscape included. Please copy&paste this folder direct in the content folder of your Unreal project. When in your Unreal project opening the Jay_defeated level, the figure comes complete textured and animated with the landscape heightmap and you can migrate it wherever you want. If you open/import only the JAY_defeated skeletal mesh or animation file, you will have load the texture for all material groups extra group by group. I'm sorry for this little circumstance, but there's no problem. More about this you'll have to scale JAY for your needs. You may use this avatar in your private or commercial products (example games or artworks), but you are not allowed to sell this character as itself. Please note: I'm not a game developer, i only create characters and figures. For testing the usuability i have imported the fbx.files in Unreal Engine and they are working, but scripting and game development is your job. For this i cannot exist you (at this moment). Maybe later my skills will rise, but make this avatar running, jumping and else in game on command is your job! There are several cool animations included which were done at mixamo.com. Video demonstration for this avatar and more of my art and products you will find at: https://beckhusen.artstation.com/ or https://www.facebook.com/artofstefanbeckhusen/ If you have any requests don't hesitate to contact me!
